Two hundred and fifteen steps covered in more than 2,000 tiles from 60 countries: the life's work of the Chilean artist Jorge Selarón, who painted and repainted it from 1990 until his death in 2013. Each tile tells something, and red dominates as a tribute to the Brazilian people. It connects Lapa with Santa Teresa and is one of the most photographed corners of Rio.
