The historic center was completely renovated in 2025 with flagstone streets, underground wiring and LED lighting. Café Albania's Sky Mirror is the newest attraction.

Bus 249 from Sonsonate (bus 205 comes from San Salvador). It's 10 min from Juayúa and 10 min from Ataco on the Ruta de las Flores.
